Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Regular home and living support for safer routines, shared living, personal choice and daily independence.

Settled, practical and independence-focused. Home support with rhythm, respect and clear communication.

How this support works

Our Supported Independent Living approach focuses on safety, choice and practical progress. We support participants in their own home or shared accommodation with daily tasks, house routines, community access, wellbeing checks and capacity building.

What we help with

24/7 support options
Shared living and individual living support
Personal care and daily task assistance
Household routines, meals and cleaning
Independence-focused goal planning

This may be right if...

1Participants who need regular support to live safely and more independently
2People moving into shared living, individual living or a new home routine
3Families wanting a stable support model with clear communication

The practical bit

What support can look like week to week.

The right support should feel clear before it starts. We shape the details with the participant, family or coordinator so everyone knows the plan, the routine and the next step.

Build routines for meals, cleaning, laundry and personal care

Support house meetings, shared expectations and personal choice

Encourage daily living skills without taking over

Keep safety, communication and wellbeing checks consistent

What progress can look like

Small changes can make daily life feel easier.
